Societal Organism

Singular life forms, or organisms, on Earth have evolved through nearly infinite forms.  Forms which survive today are the result of billions of years of "survival of the fittest".  For every survivor, there have been countless failures, which did not survive to propagate.

Plural life forms, or social organisms, or societies, also evolve.  Those societies without sufficient survival characteristics do not survive.  Those that do, do.  Again, survival of the fittest.

Surviving life forms on Earth contain a wealth of information for us to use in increasing the survival potential of our social organisms, or societies.  If we will only open our eyes and minds to the lessons set out there right in front of us.

Some of these lessons will not be compatible with our present conceptions - political, religious or otherwise.  For example, organisms do not survive on the pure democratic method.  Can you imagine the survival prospects of a gazelle waiting for all of its cells to vote whether to run from an approaching lion, or even which direction to run?

Before you completely recoil, please remember that all modern day democracies still delegate the responsibility of national security emergencies to their leaders, or "brains".

So let us peer into the organs and systems of the surviving life forms, or organisms, and we will find, by analogy, a better way to survive, as social organisms.

Let us know what you discover!
